Patient Information
Practice Policy
We run our practice on an appointment system. But we know life happens, so we have same-day appointments available for our busier days and walk-ins for patients in need of immediate care. The practice nurse will always prioritize urgent cases, and she will triage these, and they will see a doctor as soon as possible.
Telephone access
We are here for you Monday through Friday in the office during regular surgery hours. Our doctors do not take phone calls and will return calls only if medically necessary. Our doctors can make TeleHealth appointments if you are self-isolating. These slots are only booked in advance, and the doctor will call you at a scheduled time using your desired contact number. If your call is not urgent, we will route it to the doctor as soon as the schedule allows.
Email Communication
In that sense, email is specialist communications—think referrals. This refers to emails, which are checked once a day and should not be used for appointment requests. Appointments overlap when we receive your inquiry and when you inform us of your preferred time slot to guarantee that you call the practice directly to book your appointment.
Recalls
We will book you in for a recall appointment if your doctor needs you to come back to discuss test results or correspondence from your specialist or hospital. If you need results and cannot see them in person, a TeleHealth appointment can be booked.
Reminder System
With your approval, we are a preventative care practice and will add you to our reminder system. You might receive notifications from this system regarding preventive health services specific to your care. State/territory reminder systems: We also participate in state/territory reminder systems. Please let your doctor or reception staff know if you do not wish your name to be included in these reminders.
Home Visits
However, home visits when your regular GP perceives that treatment can be rendered only at home (if medically necessary and adequately for their condition) are done thereafter.
Your Rights Complaints and Suggestions
We appreciate your feedback and invite you to tell us about your experience so we may continue to enhance our services. If you have an issue or an idea, don’t hesitate to go to the doctor or the receptionist. You can also write your thoughts in our suggestion box. We take any concerns, suggestions, and complaints seriously and respond to them accordingly.
